   As the release of the Wii U approaches, its time to look back at the generation that was. The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii were released in the Seventh Generation of gaming, and the world must know the answer to this question. "WHO WON THE CONSOLE WAR?"

     As I anxiously await for the release of Halo 4 I wonder "Have FPS games taken over consoles?" My most memorable moments in gaming stem from shooters, from Goldeneye on the N64 to Battlefield 3 on the Xbox 360, I have experienced the best and worst of the genre for almost 20 years...... This current Generation of Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, and DS there are very few "original" titles. Honestly there are way more on the handhelds than the main consoles, why?

    Game remakes......You know there truly is only one other thing that can be more annoying than video game remakes and that is movie remakes. Luckily for us though we are not hear to talk about movies....but look at some of the failures and successes of video game remakes.

   The terms Master Chief, Spartan, Cortana, Covenant, Arbiter, Sarge, or John 117 when brought up in a conversation...not even going to finish this thought because HALO is already on your mind. The Halo Franchise just reached 11 years and I will share with you some milestones in the past decade.

    In Less than two months thousands of people will be lined up outside their local Game Stops, Best Buys, and Walmarts to purchase the first console of the Eighth Generation, The Nintendo Wii U. With the success that Nintendo had with the last system you can be assured that the Wii U will give both Microsoft and Sony a run for its money......again.
